Munch! Munch!

It has been a long time since I posted an image on this blog. It is not because I forgot or I'm lazy, but because I did not have anything interesting to put :-(. I hope this one will bring a smile on your face :-)

Deep Sleep

I couldn't help but take this picture. Had to be very careful not to disturb the sweet little boy. Can not wake him up from his deep sleep, can I? I wonder what he is dreaming about.

Utopia

Woke up in the morning to see this thin white carpet of snow cover everything outside. Well... I was looking at this through my window.

I couldn't walk out of the door without the camera in my hand. What a beautiful sight it was. Here is one of those frozen moments for you to see.

Very Cute

Do these pots look like any others in size? Not really. They are quite tiny and very cute. Check out my flickr account (bachibambo) to see how small they are.

Light and Shadow

Hhhmmm... interesting. This is a color picture of a black and white scene. Hence black and white picture :-).

How come the lamp is throwing light on the right side and not on the left?

This is an original image. It has not been post-processed (modified) in any way except being cropped for size.

Frozen Chicken Feet?

This was the third such icy-rain, wintry-mix days where it is neither beautiful powdery snow with well-below-zero temparatures nor rain.

The sleet that sticks to the windshield and the icy ground that breaks your butt when you fall. Is there anything good about this? Yes of course. There is one right here.

Abstract

Looks like a graphic image? It is the ripples in the Huntington Harbor waters. Huntington, NY.

Huntington Harbor

The ripples above are from these waters. Right here. Took this picture during sunset while my clothes were drying in the laundromat drier.

A Spec in the Infinite

This is from my last trip to Montauk, NY. The size of that boat in the vast ocean under the infinite sky made me wonder how insignificant we are in this universe.

A Page in the History

Pseudo-carpenter taking us back into the mid 19th century America (Long Island to be more specific). This is a village restoration program in Old Bethpage, NY aimed at preserving the available artifacts from 19th century Long Island.

'A' Train, Manhattan

Shot last weekend during the Tribeka Film Festival in NYC. We ended up in the first car of the 'A' subway train. It was a fantastic opportunity to capture something one usually can not. This is one, reasonably, good shot out of all. It is basically when the train was approaching the 34th street station.

One can see the faint outline of the people standing on the platform.

Spring Time

Shot last spring ('06). One of my very early pictures after getting the new Rebel XT
